An innovative German-based recycling business within Sport Group, FormaTurf keeps synthetic turf out of landfill and continuing to transform sport and spaces for years beyond its initial lifespan.
The first turf recycling solution to recycle all components of an artificial turf system, FormaTurf’s high-tech, unique separation and recycling process gives used materials a second life as blocks and boards for sports stadia as well as a wide variety of applications in gardening, construction and industrial practices. It began serving the German market with second life products such as boards and container plates in 2023.
Giving a second life to old turf and keeping it within the sports stadia and outdoor spaces it was first created to serve is a pioneering answer to the challenges of comprehensive recycling of artificial turf pitches and sports surfaces.
